Marilynn Jean (Morgison) Brice, Kimberling City, MO, passed away on March 19, 2016 at Table Rock Healthcare Center, Kimberling City, MO.

Marilynn was born in Wichita, Kansas to Floyd Victor Morgison and Thelma Laverne (Covey) Morgison on March 8, 1946. When she was young, the family moved to Wyoming and she grew up in Cheyenne where she graduated from East High School. She worked briefly for the FBI in Washington, D.C. She moved to Albuquerque, NM for a few years, returned to Cheyenne and worked in banking. After a few more years she moved back to Albuquerque, New Mexico. She worked many years in Credit Unions until she retired from Kirtland Federal Credit Union, where she was Branch Manager.

Marilynn married Garry Brice on June 16, 1984 in Albuquerque, NM. After visiting Table Rock Lake for many years, and living part time there for several years, they moved, permanently, to Kimberling City in 2012. Marilynn long suffered from Alzheimer's type dementia and became a resident at the Table Rock Healthcare Center on February 23, 2015.

While growing up, before her marriage, and after she married, she made a number of very close friends who she considered family and whom she loved. She was always giving and loving.

Marilynn was preceded in death by her parents, several friends, and extended family. She is survived by her husband, Garry; two stepsons Billy and Jack Brice; her brother, Reggie Morgison; sister, Linda Buchal; and seven half brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and extended family.

The loved ones of Marilynn wish to express our appreciation and gratefulness to the management and staff of Table Rock Health Care Center for being so loving and caring. Everyone, including nurses, aids, maintenance, housekeeping, kitchen and others became Marilynn's family. And to everyone for the prayers, cards, phone calls, and support during our loved one's long illness and death.

It was her wish that her remains be directly cremated. There will be a Celebration of her life and memorial service on March 29, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Stumpff Funeral Chapel-South, Kimberling City, MO with Dave Pino officiating. A Visitation will precede the service from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Stumpff Funeral Chapel-South Kimberling City, MO.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks, that memorials be made to The Table Rock Healthcare Center, , or Castaway Animal Rescue Effort (C.A.R.E.) in Springfield/ Ozark. Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
