Hobart, Mark Logan

Mark Logan Hobart entered Heaven on January 30, 2017 at the age of 61 due to a battle with cancer. Mark was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a graduate of Valley High School, class of 73. Mark was an Electrical Estimator for over 35 years in Colorado and New Mexico. He was a member of Grace Church since he was a young child and he had peace in knowing that he was going home to be with the Lord.

Mark had many passions, among them he enjoyed a rodeo life in his younger years, had a love for flying, obtained his pilot license when he was in high school and he enjoyed coaching soccer for many years. He also enjoyed writing computer software and enjoyed a variety of art medias which included making bronze sculptures and cartooning. He was an amazing artist! Mark also enjoyed a little gambling from time to time. Most of all, Mark loved spending time with his family, traveling and attending his grandchildren's sporting events and school activities. His excitement and love for his grandchildren and children shined…We will miss your sense of humor among many other things…..

Mark was welcomed in Heaven by his mother Joann Hobart, father Phillip Hobart and older brother Jeff Hobart.

He is survived by his little brother Peter and wife Lisa Hobart, former wife and mother of children and a life long friend Waunita (Skeeter) Hobart, son Logan Hobart, daughter Karri and son-in-law TJ Hauser, daughter Kimberly and son-in-law Joseph Mullings. Grandchildren Cali and KL Hobart, Crimson and Sterling Hauser, and Uriah Mullings. As well as many loving niece, nephews and friends….….and a bus full of nuns.

A memorial service for Mark will be held at Grace Church on Saturday February 18, 2017 at 11:00am located at 6901 San Antonio Dr NE Albuquerque, NM 87109… Cowboy boots and Hats are encouraged in memory of Mark. There will be a celebration of life to follow…… mlh
