Aker, Marlin Jr.

Marlin Aker Jr., 80, of Santa Fe, NM, passed April 14, 2017.

He was born in Safford, Arizona, March 4th, 1937. Marlin graduated from Espanola High School and attended NMSU to become a Mechanical Engineer. He was married to Frances Elliott.

Marlin was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. After retiring from Sandia National Laboratories in 1994, he worked with the Hispanic Genealogical Research Center of NM researching the history of his ancestors.

Preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Aker, and survived by his loving family and many friends. Beloved by all.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to these homes: Albuquerque Christian Children's Home, Manuelito Navajo Children's Home, or NM Christian Children's Home.

Memorial will be held May 20th at 11am, Northeast Church of Christ, 11000 Paseo Del Norte NE, Alb, NM 87122.
