Marlysa Marie Sanchez

Marlysa Marie Sanchez, age 31 of Los Lunas, passed away Sunday, November 5th, 2017. Marlysa is survived by her son, Eliohn; her brother David Sanchez; her parents, John and Janice Sanchez; her grandmothers, Isabel Sanchez-Caire and Margaret J. Pyle as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Marlysa graduated from Los Lunas High School in 2004, where she was an exceptional student as well as athlete. Her strong athletic ability was demonstrated in her commitment to play basketball and volleyball. After graduating from high school she attended UNM's nursing program, then pursued her MA through PIMA. In her spare time she enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping and four-wheeling. She most enjoyed time spent with her son, family and friends.

Marlysa leaves behind the love of her life, her son, Eliohn. Of all things Marlysa did in her life, nothing compared to being with her son. She was a dedicated mother who shared love with her son in ways that only a true mothers love can. Marlysa will forever carry their love with her, as a piece of her will forever remain with her son, Eliohn.

Marlysa's life would seem short to many, but those who were touched by her love and kindness understand that the quality of her existence far exceeded the quantity of time in which she lived. Her beautiful smile could melt the hearts of those around her. Her laugh and voice will forever be heard. With Marlysa's passing we remind others that life is to be celebrated. Although we will miss her everyday, especially her winning smile, she will forever remain in our hearts.

Marlysa was preceded in death by both her grandfathers, Sylvester Sanchez and Roland R. Pyle.

Please join us in celebrating Marlysa's life, Thursday morning, November 16th, 2017, at Calvary Chapel in Los Lunas at 9:00 a.m, 12:00 pm at Sunset Memorial, followed by a reception at Calvary Chapel in Los Lunas. Pallbearers will be: Cordell Williams, Damir Pyle, Dylan Pyle, Anthony Pyle, Rudy Castillo, and Caden Ortiz.
