Mary Ann Foster Wade passed away in Albuquerque, NM on November 13, 2016 at the age of 75.

Born in 1941 in Washington, DC, Mary Ann grew up in Williamsville, New York and Cincinnati, Ohio and earned a Baccalaureate degree in teaching from Miami University of Ohio in 1963. She had a long career as an elementary school teacher in Maryland, Virginia and New Mexico.

Mary Ann was an accomplished artist, quilter, singer, writer, photographer, and gardener. She was a passionate advocate for children and was involved with several volunteer organizations and charities. She was an active member of PEO Chapter AX and a long-time member of St Paul United Methodist Church in Socorro, NM. Mary Ann touched many lives with her kindness and loving, generous spirit.

Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband, Campbell, of 38 years; and lovingly remembered by her children, Linda Mihalic (Guy Clafshenkel), Stephen Mihalic, Jason Mihalic (Rhonda); step-children Karen Wade (Franklin Fogel), David C. Wade (Lisa), Richard Wade (Stephenie); brothers Charlie Foster (Kathie) and Angus Foster (Zandra); sister in law Katherine Williams (Larry, d. 2015); grandchildren Sam Mihalic, Luke Mihalic, Heath Clafshenkel, David S. C. Wade, Nicholas Irianni, Desiree Wade, Kristin Behne (Kenton), Timothy Wade, Eric Wade, and David S. Wade; and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.

The Memorial Service will be held at Carter Hall at La Vida Llena, 10501 Lagrima De Oro NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87111 on Thursday, November 17 at 2:00 p.m. with Chaplain Gerry Lightwine of La Vida Llena and officiating.
