Miller, Michael J.

Michael J. Miller, age 31, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on May 4, 2017 peacefully with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his dad, Howie Hardwick; grandma, Ann McClellan; and cousin, Jacob Romero. He is survived by his mother, Susan Hardwick; brother, Johnathan Miller; auntie and uncle, Kathy and Larry Gonzales; niece, Leslie; and nephews, Joshua and Daniel. He was loved by numerous cousins and longtime mentor, Mr. Mark.

Michael was a 2008 UNM graduate who was full of charisma and could have written a book on manners. With his blue eyes, bright smile and friendly demeanor, he charmed everyone.

Although he loved his work at the East Fitness Center on Base, his real passion was always snakes. Exploring the outdoors in search of all native New Mexican snakes, Michael was happiest with his snake hook and flashlight in hand.

Michael's life will be celebrated on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 3:00pm at the Hardwick family home.
