Nathan A. Salazar



Nathan (Nate Dog) Salazar, age 37, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 8, 2018 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born on December 17, 1980, in Albuquerque, to Mark and Shirley Salazar. He married Jessica Carrillo on September 12, 2009 and together they had one daughter, Layla Sonora Salazar. Nate truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: laughing, loving and spending time with friends and family. Nate had an ability to make people laugh and always made people happy. He is survived by his wife, Jessica; daughter, Layla Sonora Salazar; mother, Shirley Salazar; brother, Jason Salazar; nephew, Marcus and niece, Priscilla; godchild, Joaquin Rubio; grandparents, Reynaldo and Anna Marie Salazar; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Nate touched are invited to a Rosary at Saint Therese Church, 3424 4th Street NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 6 pm, and Mass on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 9 am to reminisce, grieve and support each other.
