Pauline Perea

Pauline Perea passed away on January 8, 2018 at the age of 85. She lived a rich, long and fulfilling life enjoying traveling with her husband, playing at the casinos, and watching lots of sports, especially football, tennis and basketball. She also loved spending time with her sons and family. Pauline was born at home with the aid of a midwife, into a family of 10 siblings in the old district of Albuquerque known as Martinez Town. She was the fourth child and was raised and educated in Martinez Town. In 1952 she married Ignacio Perea from Corrales and they lived a comfortable life in Corrales. Pauline, while raising two boys, also worked for a period of time at the United States Post Office in Corrales. Pauline was preceded in death by her father, Albert Harrison; mother, Dulcinea Harrison; husband, Ignacio Perea; brothers, Raymond Harrison and Charlie Harrison. She is survived by her two sons, Rudy L. Perea Sr., daughter-in-law, Rosanna Perea and their sons, Rudy L. Jr. and Raphael Perea, Paul Perea and his son, Nicholas Perea; sister,

Cecelia Gutierrez; brother, Arthur Harrison; sister, Sally Baca; brother,

Albert Harrison and sister-in-law Rosie Harrison; brother, Manuel Harrison; brother, Timo Harrison and sister-in-law

Miriam Harrison; sister, Linda Ortiz and brother-in-law Pete Ortiz; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 7:00 pm at San Ysidro Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 10:00 am, also at the church. Burial will follow at the Corrales Cemetery.
