Clark, Raymond Geobert

Raymond Geobert Clark was born Oct. 25, 1933 in Los Angeles, CA and passed away peacefully on Sat. March 25, 2017.

Ray joined the Navy at age 17. He was stationed in Hawaii and Japan, then transferred to the USS Kidd during the Korean War. He worked 43 year in telecommunications, starting as a frameman for Western Electric in Los Angeles, then as a central office technician to a manager at Pactel in San Jose, CA, and subsequently worked for two years in Iran for ITT. Then he returned stateside to Albuquerque, working as a manager. In 1995, he relocated to Seattle following Pat's (wife's) employment with Quest and retired via a surplus on Nov 30, 1996.

Ray loved woodworking projects, camping, fishing, and cutting and splitting wood for the fireplace.

Ray is survived by his sisters, Shirley Bingham and Joan Christy; his wife, Patricia Clark; two sons, Douglas and Timothy; three grandsons, Raymond, David and Kyle; and seven step-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his eldest son, Raymond.

Cremation will take place at French's Mortuary, and a memorial service will be held at the San Victorio LDS Chapel, 11750 San Victorio NE, on the corner of Lowell and San Victorio on April 8th at 1:00pm.
