He grew up in Canutillo, Texas and graduated from Lydia Patterson Technical High School in El Paso, Texas. He contracted polio at two years old, but that did not diminish his beautiful spirit nor slow down his drive to make the most of his wonderful life.

After his selling career ended, he went back to school at TVI (CNM) then worked at General Electric as a part inspector for many years. He was dedicated to his craft and felt a strong responsibility to make sure the parts he inspected were exact. He received several awards at GE for developing tools to measure the tolerances of parts better and easier.

He was a member of SNMDP #2 of Alameda, New Mexico. Reymundo was very active at St. Therese Little Flower Church. He was a lector and usher for many years and very involved for the Parish Fiestas. He devoted much time to the St. Vincent de Paul society.
