Nance, Richard Earl

Richard E. Nance, a resident of Albuquerque since 1991, passed away May 8, 2017.

He was born July 18, 1932 in Maude, OK.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was married to the love of his life, Carol Sue Thompson for 38 years.

He is survived by sons Richard E. Jr., Michael R. and Patrick J., of Richmond, VA, Stephen L. of Atlanta, GA; daughters Jackie Nance-Graf, twins Lara E. & Susannah M., of Richmond, VA, daughter Liese Morris, son-in-law J. Glenn Morris, & grandson Jacob R. Morris, of Albuquerque, NM; granddaughter Chelsea E. LaFont & husband Damian LaFont, & great-granddaughter Emerson LaShay LaFont of greater New Orleans; niece Sharon Nichols & great-nephew Charles Nichols of Shawnee, KS.

A memorial service will be held at the San Victorio Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 10: 00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Association of Retarded Citizens (The ARC of the United States).
