Arvidson, Robbie Dell

Robbie Dell Arvidson, 89, of Greenbrier, AR went to be with her Lord on Sunday, Feb 19, 2017. Robbie was born on Jan. 24, 1928 at Greenbrier, a daughter of the late John H. Glover & Ola Ford Glover.

Robbie was a remarkable woman and well ahead of her time. During her career she was active in the construction industry in Albuquerque, NM. She was a Ham Radio (N4CHK) enthusiast, and she enjoyed camping, fishing, travel, playing cards, dominos and board games and spending time with family and friends. After Robbie "retired" she was a travel agent and went on 14 cruises around the world. She was especially blessed to be able to spend the last few years in Wooster with her beloved sister and best friend Halogene Mason and family here.

Robbie is survived by her son, John Nichols of North Little Rock, and very special niece Brenda Henry (Max) of Vilonia. She is also survived by two sisters, Halogene Mason of Greenbrier and Norma McDonald (Bill) of Anchorage, AK; two brothers, Max Glover (Jody) of Albuquerque, NM and John L. Glover (Bobbie) of DeWitt, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members whom she dearly loved.

Robbie was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, John L. Nichols, Joseph L. Ruggieri and Raymond Arvidson; two brothers, Jimmy Glover and Gedra C. Glover; and two sisters, Betty Wilson-Bush & Gwineva E. Glover.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Lander Smith and the wonderful, caring staffs of Greenbrier Nursing Home and Kindred Hospice.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Fri., Feb. 24, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home. Greenbrier, AR.

In lieu of flowers, Robbie would have appreciated memorials to the youth programs at Wooster First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 218, Wooster, AR 72181.
