Robert Page Hubbard

Robert Page Hubbard, 73, died after a short illness on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born on July 10, 1944 in Roswell, NM to Jack and Ellen (Upton) Hubbard. In 1967 he married Carol Carter, and together they raised their daughter, Sarah. Page worked as a teacher for Ruidoso Municipal Schools, and was particularly known for inspiring young learners to pursue careers in STEM. After retirement, Page and Carol moved to Albuquerque, where Page volunteered with the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science, preparing fossilized specimens of prehistoric animals for display. Page is survived by his wife, Carol; daughter, Sarah; son-in-law, Adam Wolf; granddaughter, Harriet; sisters, Rose Neblett and Jacquie Svensson; and many beloved nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be celebrated later in the Spring. Memorial donations may be made in Page's name to the Roadrunner Food Bank, 5840 Office Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109 or
