Robin Lee Davis Obituary
Davis, Robin Lee Dr.

Dr. Robin Davis, 62, of Albuquerque, New Mexico died Thursday, December 31st of complications from multiple sclerosis. She received her B.S. and PharmD from the University of Washington and was the first female faculty member of the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy in 1985.

In fact, at her new employee processing, a Human Resources employee sized her up and exclaimed "You mean that a bunch of cowboys hired a WOMAN?!"

Robin was born in Chicago, the daughter of Hymen and Rose Klapman Davis. She is survived by her devoted and caring husband Terry Duber; sister Linda Forman; her brother Stanley Davis; as well as her brother-in-law Ronald (Gloria) Duber; nephew David Forman (Miriam Ament); and nieces Rachel (Hillel) Lipson, Catherine Davis and Elizabeth Davis; and great-niece Sarah Lipson.

Although her disease left her a quadriplegic, the advancement of voice-activated computers allowed her to keep in touch with family and friends all over the country. She will be remembered for her immense caring and compassion. Caregivers became lifelong friends. Her assistance dogs over the years, Heidi, Gus and now Julie treasured her as much as she treasured them.

Funeral services were held at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette, IL 60091, Monday January 4th at 11 am. Interment was at Rosehill Cemetery, Chicago.

Please no flowers. Donations in Robin's memory can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, The Milagro New Mexico Boston Terrier Rescue or Chabad of New Mexico. For funeral information please call 847-256-5700.
