Ronald "RJ" Sanchez

Ronald "RJ" Sanchez. Friday September 22, 2017, the first day of Fall, I expired. No reason to be sad. I lived a full life, granted a few more years would have been great. I traveled the world making friends wherever I went. I thoroughly enjoyed experiencing worldly cuisine and delicacies. Some of my most memorable experiences were as a Peace Corp Volunteer in Costa Rica, living in Hawaii, and traveling throughout Europe and Central America. I retired from the BNSF as a Railroad Engineer.

I am survived by my mother and best friend, Nancy Sanchez of Peralta; siblings Donald, Matthew, Nancy Ann, Geralyn & oldest brother in Tenn., and very dear friend Darlene Rivera-Carlos. I am also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Special 'shout out' to

NaNa who lovingly cared for me from head to toe.

Services will be held on Friday Oct. 6, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Peralta, NM. Family visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 followed by a Rosary and an 11am Mass.
