Garcia, Rosemary Margaret Brady

Rosemary Margaret Brady Garcia died on February 5, 2017. She was born in Toledo, OH on January 19, 1930, moved to Springer, New Mexico as a young girl and then moved to Albuquerque shortly after where she spent the remainder of her life.

Rosemary is survived by her daughter Kathy Garcia & special friend Carol Zink of Corrales & by her five sons, John Garcia Jr, and wife Cindy of Arlington TX, James Garcia and wife Margaret, Jerry Garcia & wife MaryAnn, all of Albuquerque, Larry Garcia and wife Stephanie of Rio Rancho, Don Garcia and wife Vivienne of Casa Grande, AZ and her beloved dog, Kacee. She is also survived by nine grandchildren & 15 great-grandchildren with one on the way.

She is preceded in death by her husband John Garcia Sr., brother, Richard & sisters, Norma and Eileen.

Rosemary was an active member of the Immaculate Conception parish where she attended and raised her children and most recently of the St Jude Thaddeus Catholic parish. She will be missed by her many friends from all the different parts of her life including her church family, the lake group, her camping buddies, neighbors & many more. Rosemary was active in water aerobics for 35+ years with many special friends who shared many good times.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 5:00 pm with a rosary recited at 6:00 pm at French Mortuary â€" Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd, Albuquerque, 87114. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 9:30 am at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd W, Albuquerque, NM 87114 with Father Tien-Tri Nguyen, celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Garcia, Estevan Loya, James Marden, Mike Overall, Jay Salisbury and Nick Weber. Memorial contributions may be made to the , 5333 N. 7th Street, Suite B-212, Phoenix, AZ 85014.
