Roy Keith Dellinger

Roy K. Dellinger, April 23, 1956 to October 9, 2017, born in Las Vegas, New Mexico.

A limb has fallen from the family tree that says grieve not for me, remember the best times, the laughter, the song and the good life I lived while I was strong.

Roy's legacy remains through his wife Karen of 40 years; his daughter Stephanie Thompson, her husband Dan Thompson and their son and daughter DieselBlu and Paisley Rein Thompson; his daughter Lacey Eisenhour, her husband Matthew Eisenhour and their daughter and son Charley Grace Eisenhour and Aiden Eisenhour; his best friend and son Lance Dellinger. Other survivors of Roy include his mother Phyllis Dowler; mother-in-law Barbara Mosley; sister and brother-in-law Peggy and John Desko; his stepmother Dena Dellinger; step brother and sister Justin and Tammy Nicolas; niece and nephew Alisha Hull and Brandon Mosley; his lifelong buddy Duane Koch and wife Kathy; and his many other lifelong friends and loved ones.

It is impossible to forget someone who gave us so much to remember. A lover. A fighter. One who never backed down. One who never gave up. He will be remembered through all of his great stories, especially with as many times as we all have heard them. You will never be forgotten, Roy. Your legend will live on through us.

The most important feature of Roy's life was his family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and son-in-law. He was our patriarch. He was our leader. Roy lived to create great experiences so that we could keep unforgettable memories. It was never a dull moment with the "Griswolds." From overdoing the Christmas lights each year to chasing gophers in his underwear, let the stories live on.

"Dancing in the heavens with your dad and father-in-law."

A Celebration of Life for Roy K. Dellinger will be held on October 20, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the Canyon Club, 911 Four Hills Rd SE.
