Hanson, Thorbjorn Dale



Our loving dad, Thorbjorn "Dale" Hanson, 67 years old, passed over on the eve of July 2nd, 2017 at home surrounded by his family, after battling cancer.

Dale served in the Vietnam War era and was a proud Soldier in the U.S. Army.

Born on December 30, 1949 in Roseau, MN, he was one of six siblings. He currently had his home in Edgewood/Albuquerque, NM. Dale was an R.V. Repair technican, avid drum and guitar player, loved travelling to see his family and taking his grandchildren fishing.

He is survived by his two daughters Aletha "Hanson" Silverstein of Templeton, CA and Melissa Hanson of Albuquerque, NM; his two loving grandchildren Alexea H. and Aiden S.; the mother of his two children, Thea Hanson; Frank and his wife Shawnee Chrastina; his sisters Carol Bruinsma, Joanne Kaiser, and June Steffen; and several loving nieces and nephews across the states.

He was preceded in death by his parents Thorbjorn and Ruby; his brother and his sister Ruby Jean Scott.

Services are to be held at a later date at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque, NM and will be posted on Dale's memorial page. Tributes and memories can be made at
