Valentine Archuleta Sr., God took his hand and lead him to Heaven July 27th, 2016, at the age of 85 years.

He was born in Ribera, New Mexico.

A truck driver for over 50 years, 35 of those years with Yellow Freight Systems. He served in the U.S. Army and National Guard for over a 10 year period, stationed in Hokkaido, Japan during the Korean War. Discharged as an Honorable Veteran.

His passions were working at the ranch, where he helped his brother Joe, attending to the cattle and farm. He loved fishing and hunting in his early years.

His late wife Amelia "Molly" Archuleta, preceded his death in 2011. His parents Salvador and Martina Archuleta, also preceded his passing.

He is survived by his children; Rosemary Vallejos, her husband Victor, Valentine Jr. his wife Gayle, Edmond Archuleta his wife Helen, Sara Archuleta Trujillo, her late husband Robert, and Robert Archuleta, his wife Lisa. Grandchildren: Amina & husband Mike, Demetria (Dee Dee) and boyfriend Tyrone, Victor Ernest and wife Amanda, Eddie Jr. and girlfriend Marie, Robert (Bobby) and girlfriend Eileen, Denikka (Nee Nee) and fiance Manuel, Victoria (Tori), Daeja (Dae Dae) and boyfriend Jonah, Alyssa, Sydney, Grayson (Lo Lo), and Hialeah (Li Li). Great- grandchildren: Benny, Adella, Dominic, DejaVonna, Molly, Jovan (Jo Jo) and coming soon, baby Chewey. Joseph Archuleta his brother and Lupe Varela, Raphaella (Fela) Gonzalez and her late husband Edmund, Tia Lena Ortega, Lorraine Espinosa sister-in- law; nephews and nieces, Victor, Vincent, Val Anthony, Shawna, Chris and their respective families. Many more family members and friends.

Our father was very dedicated in his Religion and Faith, being an active Catholic member since he was five years old. He was an altar boy and a Head Usher at Queen of Heaven Church until last year.

We love you Dad, Grandpa, Brother and Uncle.



Services will be:

Viewing: 8/1/16,3-5 p.m. at Riverside Funeral Home; 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE 87108

Rosary: 8/1/16, 7:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Parish; 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE 87110

Mass & Final Resting Place: 8/2/16, 10:00 a.m., Queen of Heaven Parish, followed by procession to Gate of Heaven Cemetery; 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE 87109
