William C. Clark

William C. Clark died on Oct. 22, 2017 at Manzano del Sol Nursing Care Center in Albuquerque.

He is survived by Marilyn, his wife of 49 years. Bill was born to Ford A. Clark and Anna Surgeon Clark on May 21, 1927 in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Enlisting in the U.S. Army on May 3, 1946, he was honorably discharged on March 4, 1947.

Bill owned his own automotive repair shop in Chicago when he married Marilyn Louise Moening on June 8, 1968. Following training, he became a computer programmer, but retired in 1985 when Marilyn became ill with a very severe case of Guillain Barre Syndrome, which attacked the lining of her nerves and paralyzed her for nearly two years. They moved to Albuquerque in 1995. Bill was an active member of Sandia Presbyterian Church and volunteered his time to several other organizations in Albuquerque, including Menaul Historical Library of the Southwest. He will be greatly missed.

Memorial Services will be held at Manzano del Sol on Nov. 12, 2017 at 3 p.m.
