William "Larry" Dwyer

Larry Dwyer passed away at his home on February 25, 2018. His loss has been felt by his family and many friends. Larry's life reflects a lifetime of service to his community and to God. He earned his B.S. degree at UNM and an M.A. at NM Tech. Larry was a teacher for many years and taught at both CNM and Jackson Middle School, and positively influenced his many students. Larry was an active member of Mountain Valley Church and was always the first to step forward whenever someone needed help. He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. He spent many happy hours wandering the woods and he delighted in teaching the younger members of his family the joy of it.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill "WL" and Berneda "BeDe" Dwyer; wife, Janet; brothers, Mike, Shawn; and nephew, Mike. He is survived by his brother, Timothy; cousin, Sue; brother-in-law, Mike; sister-in-law Jodi and spouse Rick; sister-in-law, Nancy; blood brother, Dave and spouse Linda; friends, Greg and Laurie; nieces and nephews, Timothy and spouse Ruth, Chris and spouse Anne, Jeremy and spouse Rose, Kelley and spouse Mike, Robert, Amanda, Christopher; and many other friends and relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National M.S. Society.
