William Tonnie Pegue

William Tonnie Pegue passed away in Denver on February 28, 2018, at the age of 92. Bill was born and raised in Albuquerque. He played football and ran track at Albuquerque High School and the University of New Mexico. He served in the Navy during WWII in the Pacific theater, one of the most memorable and formative experiences of his life. His entire professional career was spent as a sales executive for the Ford Motor Company in Denver and Phoenix. He retired in Denver with the love of his life, Joy, who survives him. Bill is also survived by his four daughters, Kim, Robin, Jaymeson, Leslie and step daughter, Patti; his sons-in-law, Keith, Mathis, Phil and Drew; and granddaughters Claire, Paige, Rory, Lilly and Charlotte. The second love of Bill's life was his dog, Scooter. The best way to honor both of their lives is through a donation to the ASPCA or your local humane society. Interment will be at a later date at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
