William Lloyd Serna



William Lloyd Serna passed peacefully on January 24, 2018.

He was born in San Rafael, NM on March 20, 1936, and was a veteran of the Korean War. He lived in California until he retired in 2015 from Boeing Aircraft, after working for 50 years. He loved his family and friends, airplanes, fast cars, art, politics, and Native American jewelry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Elias, and sisters, Evelyn and Cathy. He is survived by his son, Scott of Washington; siblings, Mary, Phillip, and Walter of Albuquerque; and sister, Betty Jane of California. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Brother, Lloyd, Bill, Unc, Uncle Squeaky, and the Old Man, will be loved and missed by everyone whose life he touched.

A Rosary will be held February 19, 2018, at 6 pm at the Risen Savior Catholic Church (7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE). Mass will take place February 20th at 10 am in the same location. Burial will be at a later date.
