Augustine Lovato Obituary
Our dad, uncle, grandfather, brother and friend, Deacon Augustine "Kuwa-Tiwa" (Little Lake) Lovato, lived to be 98 years old, passed away November 4th, 2015 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Augustine was born in Pena Blanca, New Mexico to Diego Lovato and Juanita (Abeyta) Lovato, on January 5th, 1917.
The Wake will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, from 6pm - 7:00pm at Daniels Family Funeral ~ Carlisle Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 11th, 2015 at 11:00 am, at First Apostolic Assembly (Formerly known as God's House Church) 2100 Arno Street SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102, (505) 243-1522. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, 700 Yale Blvd SE. Flowers & Cards, may be sent to Daniels Family Funeral ~ Carlisle Chapel.

I will miss Uncle Augustine speaking in his native tongue and the songs he would sing. I admired the pride he had in his culture, his country and mostly how much he loved his family and his deep dedication to our Heavenly Father. He was very creative with his trade - jewelry making. Uncle was one of a kind. I'll cherish the memory of him telling me that "You are never too old to learn something new." God bless his soul.
