Longacre, Patricia
Patricia Longacre, age 79, born in Los Angeles, California, and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016, after a long illness.
Mrs. Longacre is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, J. D. Longacre; children, Kathy Longacre, Vivian Longacre, Lorraine Donegan, Patrick Longacre, all of California, and Dominic Longacre of Baltimore, Maryland; brother, Lanny Harris; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Longacre attended a local nursing school, and worked as a nurse in local hospitals and the VA hospital for over thirty years. After retirement, she worked part time as a hospice nurse.
Mrs. Longacre was an avid gardener and a passionate reader; enjoying many books especially books on snow related subjects.
She will be greatly missed by her many family and friends.
A Rosary will be recited Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave. NW at 1:30 p.m.; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE.
In lieu of flowers the family requests support to the local hospice community with any donations of your choice.
