A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mr. Louis J. Theriot, Jr. on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 117 Main Street in Loreauville with Fr. Godwin Nzeh as Celebrant and proclaiming the Scripture readings is Phyllis Nelson and Tracy Hebert. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery located at 118 Main Street Loreauville. There will be recitation of the Holy Rosary at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 8:00 AM at David Funeral Home of Loreauville located at 118 North Main Street until the time of service. A native and lifelong resident of Loreauville. Mr. Louis J. Theriot, Jr., passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 2:47 PM at his residence in Loreauville surrounded by his family. He was a loving, caring and compassionate person. He loved spending time with this kids and grandkids. Lived his life to the fullest and never took life for granted. He loved to dance and make people laugh. He always listened with a loving and understanding ear, heart and he always tried to help a friend in need. Louis served at the Iberia Parish Clerk's office for 38 years as a public servant as a deputy clerk. Louis was married to the love of his life for 34 years Tiffany Breaux Theriot. They have 2 beautiful daughters; Lexie Theriot and husband Oran, and Lacy Theriot. 3 amazing grandchildren; Makayla Theriot, Kammie Prados and Aurolie Theriot; mother, Bertha Theriot and companion William Louviere; sisters, Judy Theriot Gioruard and companion Buddy Berthelot, Trudy Theriot and companion Julie Daniels, Roberta Theriot Latiolais and husband Brian; 2 godchildren, Brittney Girouard, Case Girouard, Alexis Girouard and numerous nieces and nephews. Louis is preceded in death by his father, Louis Theriot, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Louis and Anna Menard Theriot and maternal grandparents, Adler and Yola Latiolais Boudreaux. Serving as pallbearers are Merlin Theriot, Chad Breaux, Oran Theriot, Geroge Reeves, Johnny Bourque, Brian Latiolais, Michael Breaux and Mike Thibodeaux. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are the staff members of the Iberia Parish Clerk's Office. A very special thank you the Amanda Ramzan for all her kindness and willingness to assist Louis and his family during their time need. Also, the family would like to thank the Iberia Parish Clerk of Court's office staff members.
