So sad to hear. Just found out from Wayne who cuts our hair. Vic was my first and favorite claims supervisor. He got me the job I was with for decades with his friend Roy at Delta, who sadly passed away suddenly a few years ago. Both great guys. Vic and I stayed in touch over the years with occasional phone calls and then mostly through Wayne more recently. He'll be in my prayers. Condolences to the family. Count your blessings you had him for so long as your husband/father.

To the Family 0f Victor Barousse:
Mr. Barousse and his Dad were two of the people that brought organized Baseball to Opelousas by forming the Opelousas Little League program. People like Victor Barousse Jr. and Senior made some great summers for my brother and myself by not only forming the Little League but also coached one of the four original teams (Yankees) which my brother and myself were teammates on that team. We even won the League Championship one year and received our first trophy of anykind.I was able to go on to play college Baseball and get elected into the University Hall of Fame for Baseball and get drafted by Baltimore. This all started for me through Victor Barousse Jr. and Senior who were truely pioneers of the Opelousas Little League. My condolences to the families any may they rest in peace.
Sincerely
Harry Stelly
