George Elisha Thow

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, September 25, 2015 in Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel of the Flowers for George Elisha Thow, 54, who passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015. Reverends Steve Horn and Jim Allen will conduct the funeral service. Burial will take place in Hepzibah Baptist Church Cemetery in Shubuta, Mississippi on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 3:30pm. George, a resident of Lafayette, was the son of Dr. Bruce Thow and the former Marion Perry. He grew up in Champaign, Illinois. George is a graduate of Wheaton College and earned his MBA at ULL. He was the owner of George Thow Support Services LLC. George was a beloved husband, son, father and uncle. He enjoyed spending time with his family, being outdoors, the holidays and a good laugh.  George was known for his gentle spirit, tender heart and warm smile.  He was hardworking and devoted to not only his family, but his employees as well.   At an early age, George made the decision to walk with Christ and his family finds peace that he is now with the Lord. He is survived by his wife Karen DuCote Thow; children, Claire Thow and Mason Thow; his parents; In laws, Dr. Martin Zeke and Becky DuCote; sisters, Deborah Thow Garrett and her husband, Derek, Helen Thow and Catherine Thow; niece, Kallie Garrett, nephews, Kellen Garrett and Kirby Garrett; brother in law, Scott DuCote; sister in laws, Ruth DuCote Blundell (Ben) and Pam DuCote Peale (Clipper); nieces, Lindsay DuCote, Parker Blundell and Julia Jane Peale; nephew Luke Blundell. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 4:30PM until 8:00PM. Visiting hours will continue on Friday from 9:00AM until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Ben Blundell, Luke Blundell, Scott DuCote, Derek Garrett, Chad Guidry and Lalon "Clipper" Peale.
