Cecile Denise LaCombe

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, August 27, 2018, in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Ms. Cecile Denise LaCombe, 58, who passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018, at 12:19AM at the Heart Hospital of Lafayette. Ms. LaCombe, a resident of Breaux Bridge, was the daughter of the late Horace "ToTo" LaCombe and the former Odette Boudreaux. Cecile was employed as a Senior Consulting Specialist with Oilwell Tubular Consultants, Inc, working for Shell Oil. She loved her job and was very proud to represent them. She was formerly employed by Gulf States Utlilities as a lineman. Her work was everything to her but her love for her dogs Bailey Rae, Skippy T and Lucy Lou superseded everything. Cecile enjoyed fishing, gardening and loved being outdoors. She loved people and never met a stranger. She is survived by her longtime friend, Sabria Barber; brothers, Harmon "Hal" LaCombe and Zeb LaCombe; nephews, Chad LaCombe and Ryan LaCombe and sister-in-law, Donna LaCombe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace "ToTo" LaCombe and Odette A. LaCombe and her brother, Timothy W. LaCombe. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Sunday, August 26, 2018, from 10:00AM to 8:00PM. A recitation of the Rosary will be held Sunday evening at 6:00PM at the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue on Monday from 8:00AM until the time of service. Honorary Pallbearers will be Harmon "Hal" LaCombe, Zeb LaCombe, Chad LaCombe Ryan LaCombe and William Picard.
