Christine Wilson(1951 - 2018)

Christine Wilson, age 66, passed away in her home in Anchorage, Alaska, on Aug. 1, 2018. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at 2 p.m., at Simon & Seafort's in downtown Anchorage.
Christine was born on Aug. 26, 1951, to Jan and Patricia Andrew in Burbank, Calif. Christine was the fifth oldest of eight children. In 1959, at the age of 8, the Andrew family picked up and moved to the Mat-Su Valley on the Homestead Act, where they farmed five of 160 acres they owned. Then in 1972, the Andrew clan moved to Kauai, Hawaii, where Christine and her younger siblings developed a deep love of the Hawaiian culture and sunny weather. Christine will be laid to rest on the island of Kauai along with loved ones that have preceded her in death.
Christine moved back to Anchorage in 1976, where she bartended many local establishments for 15 years. She made many lifelong friends and met the love of her life, Frank Duxbury. Christine and Frank enjoyed many adventures together and lived with the wind in their hair while riding their Harley Motorcycles across the state of Alaska and Lower 48, including their favorite ride - Sturgis!
Christine's customer services career in the restaurant world made many connections, eventually leading her into a career in the oil and gas industry. She worked North Slope construction in Prudhoe Bay for five years then lead her to support oil field construction in the fabrication shops of Anchorage for 15 years.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Jan and Patricia Andrew; brother, Jan "Larry" Andrew; and sisters, Maureen Trumble and Colleen Kingsley.
She is survived by sister, Karen Cadd; brothers, Marc and Jeffrey Andrew; and brother-in-law, Bryan Kingsley; also by nieces, Kathleen and Katie Kingsley, Janeen and Jennette Andrew, Jenn Bailey, Jackie Marie and Jena Zacharof; and nephews, Patrick Kingsley and Charlie Andrew.
