A long time Alaskan Annalee Ann Hill, 62, of Palmer, Alaska, passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2016. A Requiem Mass will be held in her remembrance on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 1201 East Bogard Road in Wasilla, Alaska. A reception will follow. Annalee was born on June 1, 1954, to John and Lois Anderson in Renton, Wash. She graduated from West High School in 1972. She married the love of her life, James Edward Hill, on Oct. 28, 1972. She managed her husband's architectural firm for 25 years. They raised their two loving children and enjoyed spending time together at their beautiful home in Palmer, Alaska. After retirement, she and her husband began commercial fishing in Cordova, Alaska. They frequently spent time after retirement in at their vacation home in Parker, Ariz. She enjoyed a full life that included music, traveling, gardening and scrapbooking. Annalee loved to celebrate and regularly hosted gatherings for family and friends at their homes. Family and friends were the joy and focus of Annalee's life. She is survived by her husband, James Hill; their daughter, Erica Hill; son, Hans Hill; daughter-in-law, Guinevere Hill; grandson, Bjorn; and mother-in-law, Donna Hill. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Anderson; father, John "Jack" Anderson; and father-in-law, Roy Hill. Annalee is remembered as a fun, charming and generous soul. The family wishes to thank the many family and friends who have reached out to let them know how she touched their lives.
