Arthur Sargent Neville, 66, passed away peacefully at his South Anchorage home on April 11, 2014.

His journey began on January 16, 1948 in Corvallis, Oregon. He was raised there and started a family with Kathleen, who was his high school sweetheart. They were happily married for over 44 years. He graduated from Oregon State University with Bachelor in Business but preferred working outside so he became a carpenter instead. He made Alaska his home in 1981. He worked as a carpenter and maintenance mechanic and is an IBEW retiree.

Art enjoyed fishing, golfing, listening to country music and spending time with his family. Art was always one of the first people to help someone in need.

Art was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen; his father Charles and mother Mary Jeanette and his sister Jane.

Art is survived by his daughter, Maria and her husband Shawn; his son, Charlie and his wife, Sharla and twin granddaughters, Madison and Sydney; son, Michael; sister, Anne ; brother, Paul and extended family in Oregon and Washington.

A Celebration of his life will be held with family and friends before his cremated remains are sprinkled with his wife and soul mate, Kathleen in the ocean at Maui a place they both loved dearly.

Art used to always say, "Keep on keeping on " and he will keep on moving up to the heavens to his next adventure and will be dearly missed by all.
