Charles Christian Anderson, 56, passed away at Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska, on March 16, 2015. Charles was born in Seattle, Wash., on Jan. 14, 1959, to Lorraine Driggers. He was a loving father to six beautiful girls, Amber, Shasta, Darling, Jazz, Breeze and Safire; an admired brother to Tina, Arnie, JoAnne and Richy; and a nephew, cousin and good friend to many. Most of his life he worked hard as an Alaska fisherman and construction worker. He will not be remembered by his tragic death on March 16, 2015, but for his passionate love for God, his kind-hearted spirit to those who knew and loved him and his compassion for complete strangers. His family wrote, "He was a man of love, courage and strength of character. You will be missed by all, Charlie! You are loved. You are free." A visitation will be held at Janssen's Evergreen Memorial Chapel, 737 E Street in Anchorage, on Monday, March 23, 2015, at 12 p.m., with a service at 1 p.m. Arrangements are with Janssen's Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
