Eva Marie Nielsen-King was born on Oct. 1, 1966, at Kanakanak Hospital. She was fallen asleep in The Lord on Dec. 13, 2015. Eva spent her life dedicated to her family and friends. Eva grew up in South Naknek, Alaska, and was a commercial fisherman. Eva will be missed every day by her sons, George King III, Rytter King, Bjorn King, Alex Angasan and sweetheart Walter Wassillie; her parents, Donald and Mary Jane Nielsen; her grandma, her mother-in-law, her sister and brother-in-law, Lorianne and Karl Rawson; brother and sister-in-law, Donald II and Linda Nielsen and her ex-husband George King Jr. She will be prayed for every day by her godparents, Ralph and Clara Angasan. Her tough spirit and loving heart will live on through her many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who will be telling stories of our smart and wickedly funny Eva for the rest of our days. Eva joins in heaven, her brother, Troy Fredrick Nielsen; her grandfather, Trefon Angasan; grandmother, Annie Quapaw; uncles, John and Arnold Nielsen and many aunts and cousins. Memorial services will be held in Anchorage, Alaska, at the St. Innocent Cathedral on Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, with a visitation beginning at 11 a.m. and service beginning at 12 p.m. Funeral services will be at Eva's final resting place at the Elevation of the Holy Cross Cemetery in South Naknek on Monday, Dec. 21, 2015, with services beginning at 1 p.m.
