Judy Lavonda "Bonnie" Harris, 45, of Anchorage died Aug. 30, 2007, at Providence Alaska Medical Center.
A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. today at Leak Temple, 430 N. Hoyt St. The Rev. Theodore A. Moore will officiate.
She was born March 3, 1962, in North Carolina.
A class of 1981 graduate of Bartlett High School, Judy also attended Alaska Technical Institute. She was employed by Alaska State Housing as a case manager for the past 18 years.
Her family wrote: "A devoted mother to Keyana, her passions were shopping, traveling and being a confidante to many friends and family. She will truly be missed by all.
"Bonnie always had a smile on her face and was loved by everyone who knew her. She had many friends. Bonnie was a person who could be relied upon and who could be trusted."
She is survived by her daughter, Keyana Harris of Alaska; father, Lucious Nelson Harris Sr. of Virginia; stepmother, Gwendolyn Harris-Byous of South Carolina; sisters, Jacqueline Harris Coty (Reggie) of Alaska, and Kimberly Harris Anderson (Alfred) of Maryland; brother Lucious Nelson Harris Jr. of South Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, "Gennie" V. Ragland Harris.
Arrangements are with Anchorage Funeral Home and Crematory.
