One of the funniest and most beloved people in the world passed away this week. Rosemary Jacqueline Wagg, wildly adored, always spoiled, chef extraordinaire and best hostess in the world, a friend to all she encountered, passed suddenly due to a heart attack on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015. Rosemary, our New Year's baby, was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on Jan. 1, 1956. She attended Incarnation of Our Lord (Inky) through eighth grade, Cardinal Dougherty High School and Thomas Jefferson University, where she earned a degree in nursing. In the 40 years she was a nurse, she touched people with her kindness, her care and her acerbic wit. She was married to the love of her life, Rick, for 26 fun loving years. Rosemary adored her dogs, her books and her friends worldwide. Her latest passion was travel. She cherished recent re-connections with her Pennsylvania world, as well as conquering her fear of flying with adventures that took her from Las Vegas, Nev., and Chicago, Ill., to Cartagena and Puerto Vallarta. Rosemary is survived by her husband, Rick, and the legion of friends she considered her family. She willingly dropped everything to help friends and charities whenever and wherever needed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Polar Pug Rescue and Friends. Per her wishes, there will be no memorial service, but there will be one heck of a party at Simon and Seafort's on Jan. 1, 2016, at 4 p.m. God speed Roe. We love you and always will.
