Susan (White) Pressley, a long-time Alaska resident, was lifted to heaven on Feb. 20, 2015, at Providence Hospital in Everett, Wash. Family and friends will be gathering to honor Susan's life on April 26, 2015, from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m., at the residence of 20813 Bowery Lane, Chugiak, Alaska. Friends wishing to commemorate Susan's life are invited to share memories. Sue and her beloved husband, Jim, raised five children for more than 20 years in Chugiak, Alaska. Sue was a dear friend to many and she will be remembered for her fun-loving spirit, incredible kindness to all and love of flowers. Sue was adored by her many grandchildren and enjoyed spoiling them with hand crafted gifts. In 2009, Sue and Jim retired to Washington state. She loved living in the Pacific Northwest, where she could be in her garden all year. She developed close friendships in the last five years she resided in Lake Stevens, Wash., and she will be dearly missed and forever cherished by all. As Susan requested, she lies at rest in Willow Grove Cemetery, in her childhood town of Buffalo, Wyo. Sue is near her parents and family members. Susan is survived by her husband, James Pressley; daughters, Rebecca and Rachel; sons, Shaye, Kreg and James; and her ten grandchildren. Susan was a vibrant soul; she would want us to share laughter and joy when we share memories. Susan's family invites you to bring your memories of Susan and share them with us.
