Robert Damon Lewis, age 62, passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2015, at his home in Anchorage, Alaska. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:15 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2015, at the Witzleben Funeral Home, 1707 S Bragaw Street in Anchorage. Public viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Robert's interment will take place at Fort Richardson National Cemetery with Military Honors at 3 p.m. Robert was born on Oct. 28, 1952, in Ossining, N.Y., to Thomas Miller and Anita Lewis. Robert received a Masters Degree from the University of Laverne. He was a traveler and visited several destinations including California, Louisiana, New Jersey, Germany, and Korea. He moved to Alaska in the 1980s and, after serving his country for 20 years in the United States Army, he retired from Fort Richardson. Robert worked for the State of Alaska Child Support Division and the pre-legal court house of Alaska. He had multiple hobbies and enjoyed music, electronics, and spending time with Layla. The family stated, "Dad was a very loving father, who was a giving, caring and sharing person." Robert is survived by his sons, Bobby, Jason Lewis and Antoine Fields; his daughters, Nikkia, Olympia, Shayla and son-in-law, Bryan and Danyelle; brothers, Brian Graham and Michael Graham; nephews, Anthony, Andre and Michael; nieces, Amber and Cameron Graham; godchildren, Myesha, Christopher, Dejay, Keisha and Antonio; and best friends, James Byeus, Drisom, Ramsey and Tammy Dinking.
