Eva Bockoven Obituary
EASLEY - Eva Rowena Thomas Bockoven, 95, of Easley, SC, wife of the late Arthur George Bockoven, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Oakview Park Assisted Living.
Born in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Shannon Monroe Thomas and Rebecca Phoebe Dale. Mrs. Bockoven was a retired school teacher having taught in Aiken, SC.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Bockoven.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 29, 2019 from 10am until 11am at The Howze Mortuary, 6714 State Park Road, Travelers Rest, SC 29690.
Funeral services will be November 29, at 11 am at The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Mountain View Memorial Park, 7 Duncan Road, Travelers Rest, SC 29690.

Becky, As the days and years pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
We never heard of "Teeny's" passing until Mary Brytz Zinn and myself decided to search various obituaries recently and found Aunt Teeny Died in 2019. We are saddened but understand as she was 90 and so was her cousin Sara Herr Brytz 89 when she passed away some 10 years ago. We have many pictures of DJ and your Mother and want to share them with you. Do you still reside on the family compound with your horses and animals? I will always remember "lunch and dinner" !!!!

Mrs. Bockoven will be greatly missed. I will keep such great memories of this sweet little lady. From her sharing her home cooked meals to the sweet smile on her face when I would bring a little animal, baby goat or mini horse to visit her. I will miss her little voice and her warm heart. Much love and hugs to Becky and the family
