Daniel David Heater Obituary
Daniel David Heater, 45, previously of Yreka, California, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Otis, Colorado on June 22, 2018.
Daniel was born December 14, 1972 to Randall David Heater and Jackie Lea Fagenbush-Heater. He worked at the Yuma Life Care Center in Yuma, Colorado and previously, at the Washington County Nursing Home in Akron, Colorado.
Daniel grew up in Yreka, California attending elementary and high school. He spent many years living in San Bernadino before settling in eastern Colorado. Daniel had a heart of gold. He loved animals, especially dogs, and loved working with the elderly. He lived a simple life that was full of love and he believed in the good of people.
He is survived by his stepmom, Debra Heater, of Montague, California; uncles, Russell Heater and wife, Jacque, of Flagler, Colorado and Dave Preston of Akron, Colorado; grandparents, Alberta Dowling of Etna, California and Roy and Linda Hammer of Fort Jones, California; half brothers, Steven Heater and his wife, Leanna, of Orlando, Florida, Mathew Heater and his wife, Torie, of Eugene, Oregon; half sisters, Rhonda Luna and her husband, Paul, of Kansas, Rachel Crow and her husband, Jeff, of Montague, California and step- sister, Sarah Bergman and her husband, Marc, of Buckeye, Arizona. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and his loyal doggies.
He is predeceased by his father, Randall Heater; mother, Jackie Lea Batty; grandparents, Elmer and Opal Heater, Jackson Bruner, William M. and Louise Stout and Joseph and Ethel Borba; and aunts, Ricki Gardner and Susan Preston.
According to his wishes, Daniel was cremated and no services have been planned at this time.

Daniel will be buried in Yuma Cemetery in Yuma, Colorado near his grandparents, Elmer and Opal Heater.
