He passed away peacefully with his family by his side.
Rich was a local businessman in the automobile industry. A long-time resident of Alamogordo, he had many friends and family who will deeply miss him. He made people from all walks of life feel special. He loved the Lord, his family, his dogs, cars, jelly donuts, cinnamon rolls, In-and-Out burgers, Tabasco, Hatch chiles, playing dominoes (always winning), the Lakers, the Dodgers and horse-racing!
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Charlotte Jones; daughter, Richelle Jones Redivo; son-in-law Michael; grandchildren Kayla and Ryan of San Clemente, Calif.; his son, Chief Master Sgt. Richard Jones Jr.; grandchildren Justin (JT) and Zachery of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter, Leah Bean; son-in-law, Travis; grandchild, Sean; soon-to-be-born grandson, Wyatt, of Alamogordo; his sister, Suzie Bonnell, and brother-in-law, Dorsey of High Rolls; sister, BJ Pillow of Bracketville, Texas; brother, Frank Jones; sister-in-law, Sheila, of Rancho Cucamunga, Calif.; mother-in-law, Leah Torres, of Alamogordo; sister-in-law Lisa Suggs and her husband, Rick, of Tularosa as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in New Mexico, California, Washington, Arizona, Oregon and Texas. Rich's wishes were to be cremated and returned to his home. Remember him in your hearts and prayers. The family expresses heartfelt thanks to all of those who prayed and comforted the family members and friends during their time of need.
