Abram Carrillo Obituary

Abram Carrillo left his family and friends Sept. 22, 2013, to be with the Lord. He was born March 16, 1935, in La Luz, to Felimino and Guadalupe Carrillo. Abram was self-employed and the owner of Carrillo's Masonry for 45 years. He was well known in Alamogordo for his concrete/masonry work. There was never a dull moment when "Abe" was around. He would bring smiles, laughter and happiness to everyone around him.
His hobbies include casino lights, raising chickens, gardening, fishing, camping and most of all hanging out with the grandchildren and spoiling the great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline, of 50 years; two sons Danny Carrillo and wife, Nena, and Felix Carrillo and wife, Crissy; two daughters Stella Hendrickson and husband, Marcelino ,and Martha Fernandez and husband, Jimmy, of Colorado; niece Nancy Montoya and her husband, Alex; 18 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren; brothers Manuel, Valente and Stanley Carrillo; sisters Viola Salas and Patsy Rodriguez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Juanita, Carmen and Lupita, and son Jerry.
Rosary will be recited by Beatrice Mills at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 11 a.m. with Deacon Pete Schumacher, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Mario Lechuga, Richard Gutierrez, Jr., Matthew Hendrickson, Gerald Gonzales, Jr., Felipe Ray Abalos and Jeremy Paz. Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Mirabal, Matthew Mirabal, Angelica Lechuga, Nannie Mendez, Jessie Acevedo and Swan Dominguez.
The family will greet friends at 9 a.m. at the church before the Rosary.
The Carrillo family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.

Dear Mrs. Carrillo, Danny, Stella and the Carrillo Families,
I am so, so sorry, I just find out of Mr. Carrillo's passing. I have so many wonderful, fond memories of Mr. C. all the way back to when I worked for Tom Shields!
God Bless You All and know that I hold you all very close in my thoughts and prayers. Abe was such an amazing, hardworking, good hearted, fun loving soul. Truly an honor that I was blessed to have known him.

Grandpa I cannot believe you are gone. You where not suppose to leave us we were not ready papa. I love you sooo much you are my everything my heart and I am going to miss you soo much.
