Adam Oscar Lulei Jr. Obituary

Adam Oscar Lulei Jr., passed away October 9, 2017. Born on May 26, 1652 to Joyce Snear Wolfe and Lavon Jordan Wolfe in New Orleans, LA. After his parents divorced, he was adopted by his step father Adam Oscar Lulei Sr., and his name was changed to Adam Oscar Lulei Jr. He married the love of his life Leah Adele Roppolo on March 20, 1971. On November 19, 1972, their daughter Wendy Rene was born and on November 28, 1973 their son Christopher Jordan was born. Adam spent 12 ½ years serving his country in the US Army. He was very proud of his service to his country. The next 23 years he spent working in Civil Service at White Sands Missile Range. After retirement in 2008, Adam and Leah traveled across the country in their RV. Adam loved golf and Desert Lakes Golf Course was his second home, where he both worked and played.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Leah Roppolo Lulei; his daughter Wendy and Andy Garcia of Fairfield Township, OH; his son Christopher and Laura Lulei of Kaiserslautern, Germany; his sisters Joyce Vinet of Mobile, AL and Thelma and James Powers of Atmore, AL; his grandchildren Joshua and Amiesha Garcia of Englewood, OH; and Antonio and Alessandro Lulei of Kaiserslautern, Germany; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. His friends and his family, which he referred to as his "sisters and brothers from another mother", and he cherished them all.

Adam wanted a party to celebrate his life instead of a funeral or other services. A celebration of life party will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 6:00 p.m., at the 19th Hole. Food will be provided. Come and share in his celebration and share a story or two with us.
