Obituary Condolences

Amalia "Molly" Borunda, 90, of El Paso, Texas, passed away, Thursday, March 21, 2008, in El Paso.
She was born March 29, 1917, in Cloudcroft, to Joseph and Cruz (Herrera) Avila.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Solomon Borunda in 1967.
Survivors include her niece, Elena Alarcon, of El Paso, who was her constant companion for the last five years; her three sisters, Mary Sandoval and husband Manuel, of Sanger, Calif., Demecia Torres and husband Pedro, of Alamogordo, and Katie Torres and husband Joe, of Alamogordo; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly and still remember her for her good home cooking and beautiful crafts.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Chano Aliva and Pedro Aliva; sisters Lupe Vega, Dolores Panoo, Martha Luna and Virginia Alarcon.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at the Alamogordo Funeral Home Chapel with Inez "Naya" Benetiz officiating.
Interment will follow in Monte Vista Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Michael Romero, Ernesto Alarcon, Fernando Torres, Joe Romero and Joseph Vega. 
Honorary pallbearers include Gilbert Borunda and Ernesto Borunda.
Family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday at the Alamogordo Funeral Home.
