Parents: Anthony and Maisie (Pickering) Fancella  
Tony grew up in Aultman, Pa., and El Paso, graduating from El Paso High School. He joined the U.S. Air Force after high school and served over 20 years as a software and hardware engineer for the F-15 and F-117 programs. He married Dianne Rodgers on Oct. 25, 1969. After his retirement, Tony worked in civil service as a quality control officer at Holloman Air Force Base for 11 years. He moved to Clay Center, Kan., in September 2010. Tony was a Boy Scout and Girl Scout leader, and he was also a Little League coach. He was preceded in death by his father.

Son: Ronald and his wife, Jeanna Fancella, of Clay Center
Son: Michael Fancella, of Clay Center
Son: David Fancella, of Plano, Texas
Daughter: Lori and her husband, Raymond Rodriguez, of Austin, Texas
Grandchildren: 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren
Mother: Maisie Baird, of El Paso
Brother: David Baird, of El Paso
Sister: Rachel Baird-Fancella, of El Paso
Sister: Maisie Duke, of El Paso
Sister: Linda Sharp, of Clarksburg, Pa.
Sister: Peggy Shaulis, of Clarksburg
Funeral services are Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Kansas Veteran's Cemetery at Fort Riley in Manhattan, Kan. Burial will be in Kansas Veteran's Cemetery at Fort Riley.
There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Cancer Institute in care of the funeral home.
