MSgT, U.S. Air Force, Ret.
Bill Talley, 81, passed away on October 29, 2015 in El Paso, Texas. He was born on July 9, 1934 in Newport, Oklahoma to Henry and Mamie (White) Talley.

He started picking cotton in the fields when he was six years old and worked hard all his life. He was U. S. Air Force veteran retiring after twenty-two years of service and served in Viet Nam. After retiring from the Air force, he worked for Civil Service at White Sands Missile Range. He also taught Waylon Jennings how to play guitar when they were class mates in Littlefield, Texas.

Survivors include daughter, Jennifer Talley-Daeschner of Alamogordo; grandchildren, Starla, Piper and Rhys of Alamogordo and nieces, Terry Stafford and Ruth Van Worth-Rogers.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Jean Talley; sister, Faye Dean Van Worth; parents Henry L. and Mamie Talley and son-in-law, Mark C Daeschner.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m., November 5, 2015 in the Hamilton-O'Dell Chapel.
Inurnment will follow at a later date at Ft Bliss National Cemetery.

The Talley family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home to direct the funeral services. Cremation will take place at PCS.
