Billy Roy Gideon

1936 - 2016 Obituary Condolences

Bill moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico when he was seven-years-old due to severe asthma. He relocated to Alamogordo, New Mexico in 1962, and lived the majority of his life there.

In October of 2013, he relocated to Colorado where he received such immense pleasure from the vast opportunity for fishing. Every spring and summer afternoon would find him out at one of the many ponds/lakes catching and releasing fish.
He spent half of his week in Evans, Colo., with the woman he loved, and half of the time in Longmont.

All who knew him had terrific respect for him, his integrity, and his intelligence.
He was a loving, supportive father and friend.

He is survived by his girlfriend Jo Anne Brubaker; his daughter and son-in-law Yolanda and Mike Thompson; his grandson and granddaughter Tyler Thompson and Vanessa Bertolio; and his sister-in-law Joyce Gideon; and niece and nephew Elaine Gideon, and Roy Gideon.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributors please leave a message in Bill's Memory Book at: http://howemortuary.com/book-of-memories/2368203/Gideon-Billy/index.php
