Carole Velma Hall Obituary
On Nov. 7, 2012, Carole Velma Hall, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, will be laid to rest beside her husband of 58 years, William F. Hall, who preceded her in death in March of 2009. She was a 44-year resident of Alamogordo, brought to the area by her husband who was stationed at Holloman Air Force Base with the U.S. Air Force in 1968 and retired here in 1970.
She passed peacefully in her sleep at 8:05 am on Oct. 25 at La Posada Hospice in Las Cruces after a long illness and period of decline following hip surgery. She is also preceded in death by her father, William Steele, of Ohio; her mother, Sarah Riley, of Ohio and her sister, Jackie Spivey, of Mississippi.
She is survived by her daughter Loretta H. Diehl and her husband, Gunther, and daughter Rachel, of Alamogordo; her daughter Jeannine L. Brennan and husband, Frank, and their daughter April M. Brennan and her children Zachary, Caleigh, and Kohlby, of Las Cruces; their son Sean P. Brennan, his wife, Laura, and their children Gwendolyn, Nathaniel, and Lillian, of Fredericksburg, Va.; their son Bryce P. Brennan and his daughter, Felicity, of Fredericksburg; as well as three sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Per her request, a private graveside service will be held at Monte Vista Cemetery. The family has entrusted her final care to Alamogordo Funeral Home.
