1930 - 2015 Obituary Condolences

Clifford Fred Jungling, 84, passed away on April 18, 2015, in Alamogordo.

He was born on May 30, 1930, in Garrison, North Dakota to Fred and Anna (Schmitcke) Jungling.

Clifford graduated from Oregon State College with a B.S. in electrical engineering. He did his post graduate work at the University of Washington for a professional certification as P.E., E.E. He started with Western Union at 16 years in Hood River, Oregon where he retired after 30 years. He was employed with Mobil Pipeline as a Comm. Engineer until his retirement in the 1990's. Clifford served in the United States Army during the Korean War, among several awards, was the Bronze Star. He received an honorable discharge in October of 1953. He loved western music and had a radio show in Yakima, Washington playing his Martin guitar.
He had multiple radio proficiency licenses. Clifford was baptized in North Dakota as a small child and later reaffirmed his belief in Jesus as Lord and Savior in Fremont, California. in 1963. He was a long time Freemason who was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason in January of 1969 under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of California, A.F.& A.M.

Survivors include his wife Mary whom he married on July 2, 1955; daughter Brenda Eileen Holley and husband, Steve; sons Brian Clifford Jungling and wife Crystal; Rodger Travis Jungling and wife, Susan; and several grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at the New Heart Cowboy Church, 2930 White Sands Boulevard, Alamogordo, NM.
Burial will follow at Monte Vista Cemetery.

The Jungling family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
