Clyde Fugate Obituary
Clyde Fugate, 71, longtime resident of Alamogordo, passed away Friday, May 27, 2011, at home after a long illness. He was born Jan. 30, 1949, in Guthrie, Okla.
Clyde was a master mason and had worked in various states, as well as Alamogordo, until he retired.
He is survived by his ex-wife Mary Wagner, who remained lifelong friends; five children, Tami, Tommy, Karene, Kevin and Donny, all of Alamogordo; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Clyde leaves behind one brother, Jerry Fugate, of Houston; and three sisters, Judy Benningfield, of Garden Valley, Texas, Charlene Lyles, of McAlister, Okla., and Sandy Martinez, of Saginaw, Texas.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2011, at the Alamogordo Funeral Home chapel.
The Fugate family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation will take place at PCS.
